CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC
THE CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC BRINGS TOGETHER MY COURSEWORK AND ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE, WHERE I SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTE TO MANY DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COLLEGE.
WORK EXPERIENCE
My work at the Conservatory of Music extends far beyond the classroom. I’ve taken on roles in live production as both a streaming engineer and stagehand, supporting concerts and performances from behind the scenes. I currently stream Conservatory concerts, managing live video and audio capture, and have previously worked hands-on in multiple stagehand roles across different production environments.
During the second half of my sophomore year at Pacific, I transitioned to the streaming team, live-streaming Conservatory concerts through OBS and YouTube. With my background as a stagehand, I strengthened my skills in camera work and remote audio recording using the Dante system. All of these combined to create a clean, dynamic, and great experience for all the viewers at home.
STREAMING ENGINEER
In my sophomore year at Pacific, I joined the Conservatory production team as a stagehand, working on performances from symphonies to operas. I held multiple roles, from opera set construction to front- and back-of-house operations. This experience taught me how strong stage organization and collaboration with performers are essential to reducing stress and creating an environment where artists can deliver their best performances.
STAGEHAND
COURSEWORK
Throughout my time at Pacific, I’ve been fortunate to learn across a diverse set of courses. In my junior year, I developed key skills in recording and music licensing, building a strong foundation in both the creative and business sides of music. Along with a multitude of classes that have helped to propel my career in the Music Industry.
Leveraging our full recording studio, Owen Hall Studio, at the University of the Pacific, I’ve provided professional recording services tailored to any genre. Through intensive coursework in MMGT 160, I have gained hands-on experience with diverse microphone techniques and the industry-standard SSL Origin 32-channel console. To date, I have engineered over 10 sessions—specializing in Pop while maintaining a versatile approach to other styles. My technical experience extends to mixing and mastering, having mixed 7 tracks and mastered 4. I am always looking to learn more, but through my short experience, I have been able to produce high-quality, professional recordings for every artist/team I work with.

ALBUM CURATION
Beyond the studio, I played a key role in the production of the Best of Pacific, Vol. 4. My work involved hands-on experience in music licensing and album curation, ensuring a high-quality selection of tracks for the release. Additionally, I led the visual identity of the project by designing the original album artwork and developing a comprehensive suite of marketing materials. These assets were utilized to drive engagement and promote the release across a full season of live concert events.
